OPPRESS est né à Angoulême en fin 2015. C’est la rencontre de 2 bassistes, un batteur et un chanteur. Ils se trouvent des influences communes (Infectious Grooves, Oneyed Jack, Primus, ou Candiria) et mélangent un groove-fusion à diverses influences métal pour obtenir un cross-over rageur. Ils se forment à la scène et enregistrent leur 1er EP en 2018. Oppress, ça groove, ça crie, ça cogne.
